一、教学内容:Part 1(第一课时)

1、语言技能:能听懂景点单词,指认图片,并能根据图片认读短语.
2.语言知识:知道有关几个国家的首都及景点.
3.学习策略:寻找相关城市资料.
4.文化意识:知道西方国家的一些著名景点
5.情感态度:从对国家和城市的了解引发对英语学习的兴趣.

五、教学过程:
Step 1 Warm up
CAI shows some pictures about some famous places in China. eg: Changjiang River Bridge, West Lake, Pearl TV Tower…
The pupils try to say the cities: Wuhan Hangzhou Shanghai
Step 2 Prentation
1.T shows the pictures in 1a to pupils.
2.The pupils listen to the tape about 1a.
Try to read the phras.
3.T tells some informations about the places to the pupils.在家如何赚钱
4.Let the pupils know the Great Wall and the Palace Muum are from Beijing. Tower Bridge and London Eye are from London. The White Hou and the Smithsonian Castle are from Washington DC.
5. The pupils try to devide the pictures into three parts: China, UK and US.
6.Do exerci 1b, listen and match.
Read the ntences.
7.Listen to the paragraph about Beijing in 1c. Pupils try to get more informations. T write on the board.
Step 3: Drill
8.Pupils read the text.
9.Learn other two texts in this way.
Step 4: Consolidation
The pupils try to retell the texts according to the key words on the board.

Step 1 Warm up
Watch the CAI, talk about London.
Tower Bridge the London Eye

Step 2 Prentation
1.Watch the CAI, let pupils to know besides the Tower Bridge and the
London Eye, the Palace and Hyde Park are in London, too. Watch some pictures about London. eg: streets, shops, people…
2.Listen to the third text about Hyde Park. It’s easy to match the picture.
3.Read the text carefully. Try to understand the phra: in the middle of.
