Here a three-layer clad member compod of zinc-copper alloy 61 which contains less than 0.04% of oxygen and less than 30wt% of zinc, copper 62 and stainless steel 63 is employed for the cathode container 6, while a zinc-copper alloy 61 is arranged at the side contacting with the cathode 7 and presd. Conquently the workability is improved and the crack is prevented thereby the defect caud by the direct contact of the electrolyte with the stainless steel can be eliminated completely.
