A. Foreword
1. This project quantity sheet should put together to read and comprehend with bidder

M attentions, contract general u items, contract appropriated items, technical specification and diagram paper etc.
2. The listing engineering quantities in project quantity sheet are according to the anticipating quantiti
es of the diagram paper, which is a constituting part in the inviting bids documents and is also providing a public bament for bidding.
3. Unless otherwi stated by the contract ，the unit price or total sum included in any item of payment in the project quantity sheet should be considered full payment to all the indispensable operations for this item, including the supply of all the labor, materials and equipments, installation and maintenance, the building, maintenance and demolition of temporary constructions, profit, tax and all other risks, responsibilities and obligations stated or implied by the contract should all be included in various project items. For items that are not included in the project quantity sheet, their expens should be should be regarded to have been included prices of relative items and not be calculated again.
4. With the unit of item “total amount(LS)” or “at the time being amount of money”, the bidder do not fill the quantity and unit price in the detailed list, just fills the column “amount of money” only; Any with “month” for unit of item, in addition to the specified quantity in the detailed list , the bidder all should fill the quantity(month numbers) according to his own operational plan, and fills the unit price with the amount of money. There is “- -“ in any “quantity” column is an item to point this engineering amount for zero, and the bidder do not need the offer( except the unit is “total amount” or “at the time
being amount of money”). Any item with “total amount” for unit has marked the “- -“ in its corresponding “amount of money” column, the bidder does not need the offer neither.
5. Outright cost that the contract provision should has been included in each single item of detailed lists marked price project quantity, the bidder should fill the unit price or amount of money of each item according to above provision. Otherwi, the cost should have been en as included in unit price or total price of other items in project quantity sheet.
6. General instructions or elucidations of operation and material, calculation and payment provision that meet the completed work demand of contract have been written in contract terms and technical specifications. It should read and comprehend carefully the relevant part of contract document before offering each item in project quantity sheet.
7. The amount of money marked “at the time being” in detailed lists are ud all or partly, or not to u at all by supervision engineer, who u according to the direction and elucidation of contract No.58.
8. The work accounting by day that directed by supervision engineer should be charged according to the unit price in the day-accounting forms of detailed lists.
9. The fluctuation of the project quantity sheets can not affect the effectiveness of the contract item, and does not avoid the contractor of his responsibilities and obligations.
10. The unit price that the bidder fill in the detailed lists should rerve decimal point empress two figures, the amount of money should write for integral figures.
11. If any arithmetic mistake in detailed lists of the bidder quotes, the owner will correct it according to the principle of the No.29 in bidder attentions.

13. General provision of daywork.
(a). Daywork should according to the provision of 42.4 item in contract general u items.部队文书
(b). It can not calculate the engineering by daywork until the instructions written by supervision engineer.
(c). The bidder should fill the unit price of daywork item in detailed lists, and this unit price is applicable to any quantity daywork that instructed by supervision engineer. According to owner, each daywork in its form should list name quantity and the amount of money calculated by unit price quoted by bidders, the total amount of accumulating daywork should turn into the total amount of money of the detailed lists as one of at the time being amount of money.
(d). In the period of carrying out contract, the unit price in the form of daywork cannot make any adjustment, the payment of daywork does not participate in the price adjustment of contract neither.
14. Service of daywork.

When calculate daywork wage of contractor, the working hour should calculate begin from the worker arrive at the construction spot, until return the original tting out location, but do not include the dining with the coffee-break. Only the worker teams are engaged in the appointed work directly and are competent to this job, it will compute the working time. Together with working time of team’s leader also compute in this way, but do not include working time of the managerial personnel.
(b). All daywork must proceed in the normal working time of the contract provision, unless the supervision engineer have other provisions. The rvice of daywork should be paid according to the unit price in the form of rvice, disallowing to work overtime or payment to work overtime.
(c). The rvice of daywork should be paid according to the listing unit price in the form of daywork, and accesd by supervision engineer. The unit price of rvice working should include the management fee, the profits, quality examination fee, moderate fee, premium, tax and any other of this kind of relevant expens of contractor.
15. Ship machine equipments of daywork.
(a). The contractor should provide any ship machine and equipments that workplace usually u for daywork. At the work that compute the ship machine equipments expens of daywork, only pay to actual working time of ship machine and equipments at the approval and written proof of supervision engineer, unless applicable circumstance and agreed by supervision engineer, it will pay the time of operational ship machine and equipments traveling to the specified operational location by supervision and the return time. And it will not pay the fee becau of ship machine breakdown or other unqualified equipments etc.

(b). The ship machine equipments of daywork should be paid according to unit price of the form and accesd by supervision engineer. The unit price of daywork form should include all ship machines and equipments’ effective and safe work, which need all water, fuel, oil, maintenance, spare parts, fixing and other consuming spare things,

M and all other kinds subsidiary parts, also it should include management fee, the profits, quality examination fee, moderate fee, freight, unloading fee, premium, tax and any other of this kind of relevant expens of contractor. The expens of driver, captain, sailor, operation worker and the assistants also should be included in above unit price. 16. Material of daywork. (a). Contractor should provide any material needed of daywork. Bidder should fill in the unit price and the amount of money of listing every kind of material in the material form according to his purcha outlet. (b). At the work of computing material expens of daywork, only to pay the actual using material quantities approved by the supervision engineer according to the unit price quoted by contractor in the material
form of daywork. The supervision engineer will decide above material quantities according to relevant standard access. (c). The unit price of the material form should include the purchasing price, freight(according to carry to the spot warehou), terminal charge, transportation exhausts outside the field, premium and the management fee, profits, tax with any other relevant expens of the contractor. (d). The carrying expens for material of daywork from spot warehou, material storage field to construction spot will be paid according to rvice of work and relevant items of construction equipments.
