Abstract: With the fast development of world economy, the overall living standards have been greatly improved. For majority residents in the world, housing has become no problem at all, and to be in posssion of more suites of hous and invest in housing industry encouraged by the officials has become a trend. Though it is the truth that financial market does play an important role in the distribution of sources of hou, it do not mean that everyone has equal access to hous. After studying relevant financial knowledge in the cour of financial market by Robert shiller, and the report of Leilani Farha during the Interactive Dialogue at the Human Rights Council with some ideas about the financialization of housing, some doubts come into my mind. With the help of some basic principles and knowledge of financial market, this essay aims to have an analysis of the role of financial market in curing the basic rights for housing and to examine whether the participant of financial market will cure the equal access for the public.
