Activity 1 Look, listen and say.
1. 自由阅读第一部分对话, 划出不认识的单词。
2. 交流学习生词：flew, ago.
出示句子：I flew to the earth in it a long time ago.我很久之前乘着它飞到了地球。
认读：fly – flew 飞（师带读，提示ew发短音/u:/）
ago 以前，之前（师带读，提示末尾o发字母音/əʊ/）
a)学习flew.
点拨用法：fly to 飞向，飞往
We flew to Beijing in October last year.我们去年十月份飞去了北京。
生思考练习： 去年暑假，我们一家人飞到了香港。
Last summer holiday, my family ___________________________.
指名回答、齐读。

出示词组：a long time ago 很久之前。

1.教师杨利伟照片：Who is this? What does he do?师生交流。
2.播放动画，学生初步了解课文大意。
3.生默读本部分课文，思考：
Q1：What did Yang Liwei do in October 2003?
Q2：What did his family do then?
Q3：How did they feel?
3.出示Q1，全班交流，重点讲解：
a) He spent about twenty-one hours in space. 他在太空中度过了约21个小时。
出示：spend – spent 度过，花费
填一填：他将和我们一起度过周末。He will ________________ with us.
表示做某件事花费了多少时间：spend some time (in) doing sth
spend some time on sth.
出示例句：
I spent two hours cleaning my room. 我用了两个小时来打扫我的房间。
I spent one hour on my homework. 我花了一小时做家庭作业。
spend 也可以表示花钱：spend some money on sth.
出示例句：
She spent fifty yuan on that skirt. 她花了五十元买那条裙子。

b) He also made a video in space. 他还在太空中制作了一份录像。

4.出示问题2，指名回答。出示airport 机场，带读。
