channels are becoming more and more extensive, and the amount of information is becoming more
and more complicated, on-camera reporters need to gain an in-depth understanding of the dilemmas they face and take targeted measures to break through them to ensure that they can meet the requirements of the times and bring high-quality news coverage to their audiences.
2. The Dilemma Faced by Journalists in the New Era of Field Reporting
(1) Transformation pressure is high
After entering the era of full media, major traditional media are no longer limited to using radio, TV and newspapers to disminate information, they have started to widely u platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, Bajia, Zhihu and Headline to disminate information, intending to build a full media communication system by using all the communication platforms they can apply. In such a context, journalists should not only master the traditional media reporting methods, but also learn the operation methods of each media platform and understand the characteristics of audiences on different platforms, so that their on-site reports can fit the communication mechanism of each platform and be clicked and watched by audiences on each platform. In the face of the changes in the media industry, many journalists have become psychologically confud, and they have begun to think about whether they need to transform? What is the direction of transformation? Can the transfo
rmation be successful? In the wave of the times, some journalists began to try to transform, but becau of the rigid management mechanism of traditional media, individuals do not have the opportunity to study outside, and need to learn too much new knowledge and new skills, so the transformation process is difficult[2]. In the past, traditional media had a high authority and was the main platform for audiences to get information, so they only needed to compete with their peers in the market, but now the official media have to compete with the practitioners of lf-media platforms. It can be en that the journalists are facing a lot of transition pressure
(2) Industry requirements are getting higher and higher
In the traditional media era, major media units divided the work of journalists mainly according to the different communication media. For example, newspaper reporters were mainly responsible for text reporting; TV reporters were mainly responsible for video reporting; and radio broadcasters were mainly responsible for oral reporting. But in the era of full media, the media has become a division of labor according to the field of reporting. For example, journalists who are good at current affairs are mainly responsible for government news; journalists who are good at livelihood reports are mainly responsible for livelihood news; journalists who are good at education are mainly responsible for education news. In the era

关于过年的成语of all-media, the industry’s requirements for journalists are getting higher and higher. The relevant rearch institute has pointed out that an all-round journalist should have the three abilities: first, to be able to u cell phones to immediately report breaking news events around; cond, to be able to provide text articles and video articles for websites, newspapers and TV stations in the same day; third, to be able to provide in-depth report-type articles for newspapers as well as to assist TV stations in the production of documentaries [3]. Thus, in the new media era, a successful journalist should not only be familiar with the interviewing skills, reporting rules, and reporting characteristics of different platforms such as newspapers, TV , radio, and the Internet, but also be able to accurately and quickly record the scene and report news events in the out-of-camera reports, and in the abnce of camera assistance, the out-of-camera reporter should preferably be able to u cell phones, cameras, and other tools to complete the text, images, audio, and video collection and collation at the scene. In the abnce of camera assistance, the reporter should be able to u mobile phones, cameras and other tools to collect and organize text, images, audio and video at the scene, and also edit them into information that meets the dismination requirements, and then uplo
ad them to various information dismination platforms. But it is not easy to master the communication skills and process of each platform.
(3) Information authenticity is difficult to screen The most prominent feature of the all-media era is that major media have started to u website, news client-side, information sharing platforms and other channels to disminate information, and the tools for disminating information, in addition to radio, TV and newspapers, have started to involve cell phones, desktop computers, laptops, pads and so on. But with the rapid development of the Internet and information technology, in addition to the media, ordinary people can also u the channels to disminate and obtain information, so it can be said that now is an era in which everyone is an information disminator. And in today’s society, the threshold of information dismination is very low, and the capacity of cyberspace for information is also very large, and all kinds of information in the network is growing rapidly, and people have entered the era of information explosion at the same time as entering the era of all-media. On the surface, the richness of information dismination channels and the growth of the number of information in the network provide the convenience for reporters on camera to get news clues, while reporters can also get more news details and opinions from the information disminated by the public. However, through in-depth analysis, a large amount of irrelevant and red
undant information often interferes with journalists’ judgment of news facts. In the face of mixed and dazzling information, reporters have to spend more time to filter out real and valuable news clues. And nowadays, information is mostly prented in fragmented form, which is difficult to form a system and can affect people’s ability to think comprehensively and deeply about

what is happening. In addition, while information dismination channels provide convenience for journalists to gather information, they also give some journalists who lack dedication the opportunity to be lazy. Some journalists who lack dedication will directly copy and paste other people’s information on the Internet instead of conducting their own field interviews and probing the authenticity of news.

In order to do this, reporters need to gain the trust of their audiences, not only to accurately dismin
ate news information, but also to steer public opinion in the right direction so that people can view news events in the right perspective. Therefore, the public often demands more from on-camera reporters than non-news program hosts. However, the nature of live news reporting, especially live reporting, makes it difficult to shape and maintain the image of the reporter on camera. For example, in many breaking news events, the reporter needs to go to the scene immediately and, after understanding the basic situation, report directly, when the reporter has no time to prepare a news article and has to play on the spot, and also has to prent the news that is happening accurately and completely in front of the audience. In such a situation, if the reporter makes a slip of the tongue or other mistakes, it will not only affect the quality of the report, but also cau an impact on the reporter’s own image. In the era of full media, the audience can u computers or cell phones to capture the striking moments of the report and spread them through QQ, WeChat, Weibo, Zhihu and other platforms, so that they can be widely discusd. The reporters are therefore prone to become the talk of the town. For example, when a reporter was reporting on an elderly and well-known medical professional, he was screenshotted and criticized by the Internet becau he was too clo to the interviewee, which made the audience feel rude and caud a lot of public opinion. It can be said that on-camera journalists need to pay attention to their image at all times, and any slight deficiencies or minor mistakes will be magnified by the camera and may be screenshotted by irrational netizens, so there are many difficulties in shaping and maintaining the image of journalists.
3. Conclusion
In summary, now that we have entered the era of all-media, the journalists who appear on camera are faced with the difficulties of the pressure of transformation, the increasingly high requirements of the industry for journalists who appear on camera, the difficulty of discerning the authenticity of information, and the difficulty of image maintenance. In order to continue to develop in the industry and become an excellent journalist, the reporter should always keep in mind the mission of his or her body, strengthen learning in the work to constantly improve their skills, in order to provide the public with true and objective news reports.

At the same time, reporters should constantly improve their professionalism, respect the interviewees and audiences in their work, and strive to shape and maintain their image so that audiences can have trust in reporters and believe in their reports.
