IEC62619侧重于储能电池和电池系统的安全要求,不仅对电芯和电池模块进行外部短路、撞击、跌落、热滥用、过充、强制放电等安全测试,而且对电池管理系统(BMS)进行过充电压保护、过充电流保护、过热保护、耐热失控蔓延等功能进行评估。

Thetestshallbecontinueduntilthetemperatureofthecellsurfacereachessteadystateconditions(lessthan10°Cchangeina30-minuteperiod)orreturnstoambient.

Adischargedcellissubjectedtoaforceddischargeat1,0?It?Aforatestperiodof90min.Afterthetestperiod,avisualinspectionshallbeperformed.
Ifthedischargevoltagereachesthetargetvoltageshownbelowwithinthetestperiod,thevoltageshallbekeptatthetargetvoltagebyreducingthecurrentfortheremainingtestperiod.Thetargetvoltageisdeterminedasfollows:
i.Batterysystemprovidedwithredundantindependentprotectionfordischargevoltagecontrolorthebatterysystemhasonlysinglecellorcellblock:

Thetestshallbecarriedoutinanambienttemperatureof25°C±5°Candundernormaloperatingconditionswiththecoolingsystem(ifany)operating(maincontactorsareclodwiththebatterysystemcontrolledbytheBMU).Eachtestbatterysystemshallbedischargedataconstantcurrentof0,2?It?A,toafinaldischargevoltagespecifiedbythemanufacturer.Samplebatteriesshallthenbechargedatthemaximumcurrentoftherecommendedchargerwithtvoltageexceedingtheupperlimitchargevoltageby10%foreachcellinthebattery.
Theexceededvoltagecanbeappliedbyanadditionalchargerifitisdifficulttodoitbytheoriginalcharger.Alsotheexceededvoltagecanbeappliedtoapartofthecell(s)inthebatterysystemifitisdifficulttodoitinusingthewholebatterysystem.
ThetestshallbecarriedoutuntiltheBMUterminatesthecharge,whichshouldoccurbeforereaching110%oftheupperlimitchargevoltage.Dataacquisition/monitoringshallbecontinuedforonehourafterchargeisstopped.Allfunctionsofthebatterysystemshallbefullyoperationalasdesignedduringthetest.
