with语句的功能
With 跟其他介词一样，置于名词性成分或代词之前，表示名词、代词等与句中其它词的关系，主要归为以下几个意思：
一、意为“和…在一起，和，同，跟，陪伴”等，指与某人或某物与其他人或物在一起，或在一起做事，相当于 accompanying，例如：
She lives with her parents.
梦见坐飞机她同父母住在一起。
I don’t like tea with milk.
我不喜欢加牛奶的茶。
二、常跟在表示情感或反应的形容词后面，表示对某人或某物的特殊感觉，意为“对…（怀有某种感情)）百合代表的意义是”，例如：
Are you plead with the result?
你对结果满意吗？
We were disappointed with the court’s decision.
我们对法院的判决感到失望。
三、表示用某种工具、物品或材料，意为“使用，用”，例如：
He cleaned the table with a cloth he found in the kitchen.
他用在厨房里找到的一块布擦桌子。
They opened the package with a knife.
他们用刀打开包裹。
四、意为“有，具有，带有，患有”
1. 表示某人或某物拥有的物品或特征，可以表示具体的，也可以表示抽象的，例如：
牛顿晚年
It’s the hou with the really big gates.
这是一所有大门的房子。
He looked at her with a hurt expression.
他带着受伤害的神情看着她。
She has been in bed with tonsillitis for a few days.
她患扁桃体炎卧床几天了。
2. 表示某人拿着某物，例如：
如何提升沟通能力
We saw Moore coming back with a drink in his hand.
我们看到摩尔手里拿着饮料回来了。
Servants would arrive with trays of tea.
仆人会端着几盘茶来。
五、表示当一个特殊的情况存在时
1. 表示某种感觉使某人反应特殊、某些东西使某人或某物处于一个特殊的状态，意为“为，由于”等，相当于 becau of 或 as a result of，例如：
Diana was positively trembling with rage.
戴安娜气得直发抖。
I couldn’t sleep with the noi of the traffic.
交通的嘈杂声使我无法入睡。
The children were already weak with exhaustion.
孩子们已经精疲力尽了。
清空微博The air was thick with smoke.
空气里浓烟弥漫。
2. 表示转折，意为“尽管，但是”，相当于 despite，例如：
With all her faults I still love her.
尽管她有种种缺点，我依然爱着她。

六、意为“与…对立，反对”，例如：
I had an argument with my boss.
仓管员我跟老板吵了一架。
Banks are competing with each other in the property market.
银行在房地产市场上相互竞争。
七、表示按特定的方式，意为“伴着，带着”等，表示某人或某物做某事时表现出来的表情、声音或手势等，例如：
He behaved with great dignity.
他举止庄重威严。
With a sigh, she leant back and clod her eyes.
她叹了口气，身体向后倚靠，闭上了眼睛。
纸虎The car roared down the drive with a screech of tyres.
汽车在车道上呼啸而下，轮胎发出刺耳的声音。
八、表示以某物填充、覆盖等，意为“由…，用…”等。例如：
The hills were covered with snow.
山上覆盖着雪。
The bag was stuffed with dirty clothes.
袋子里塞满了脏衣服。
九、表示与某人一起做某事，意为“与…一起（做或参与某事） ”，例如：
Most countries had already stopped trading with South Africa.
大多数国家已经停止了与南非的贸易。
Parents will be able to discuss their child's progress with their teacher.
家长将可以和老师交流谈论子女的进展。
十、意为“与…方向一致，顺着”，例如：
Their boat was drifting with the current.
他们的船正顺水漂流。
Marine mammals generally swim with the current.
海洋哺乳动物一般顺水而游。
十一、表示伴随某事件做某事，意为“与…同时，随着”，例如：
The risk of developing cancer increas with age.
患癌症的风险随着年龄的增长而增加。
The shadows lengthened with the approach of sunt.
随着太阳西沉，影子越来越长。
十二、表示涉及与另一个事情的关系，意为“在…方面，针对”，例如：
There’s nothing wrong with my eyesight.
我的视力没有问题。
The trouble with car alarms is that they often go off accidentally.
汽车警报器的毛病是常常会意外的报警。
十三、表示支持或赞成，意为“支持，与…站在一起，同意…说的话”，例如：
We're all with you on this one.
在这个问题上我们都支持你。
