1.0 PURPOSE
哥白尼The purpo of this specification is to provide a procedure for testing the adhesion of a
surface coating to a substrate and to provide specifications that Hasbro Inc. surface
coatings must comply with in order to have adhesion characteristics that are deemed
acceptable.
2.0 SCOPE
All Hasbro Inc. products that have surface coatings (paper or paper like labels exempted) must meet the requirements of this specification.
3.0 TEST EQUIPMENT
3.1 TAPE - The tape ud shall be approximately 1/2" wide cellophane tape, Three M
#810 or approved equivalent.
3.2 SCRIBE
3.2.1 A BYK Gardner cross cut tester (1.5mm) is recommended especially for

4.0 TEST PROCEDURE
4.1 Using the "scribe", make 9 straight parallel cuts, 1/16 inch apart, through the
surface coating film. Make 9 similar cuts across, perpendicular to the first ones.
Apply tape to the inscribed area and rub with fingers to provide adequate contact

4.2 Fabric Products with Surface Coatings - The same procedure as 4.1 above is
performed except the “scribing” is not ud.
5.0 SPECIFICATIONS
5.1 Surface coatings on all Hasbro Inc. products must withstand adhesion test
procedure above without exhibiting significant surface coating removal (other

in an amount that is unacceptable to Quality Assurance and/or Marketing.
