Francesca Jones, a 20-year-old UK tennis player, won her final qualifying match(资格赛) in Dubai, making herlf get a place in the 2021 Australian Open(澳网公开赛).
This win has helped her to quash her doubters who believed that she would never be able to play the sport as a professional(职业选手) becau of her disability. As time went on, Jones became one of the top players in her hometown. Her family considered moving to Barcelona, where Jones could attend the Sanchez-Casal Academy, who coaches had trained veral top tennis players. She fell in love with the city and the Academy as soon as she arrived. Training four to five hours a day, Jones showed a talent at the sport that had quickly made her different from her competitors(竞争对手).
