摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain paralled operation of suitable number of pumps for variation of water level in a water supply rervoir by utilizing a certain calculation formula in consideration of a pump back pressure condition. CONSTITUTION:Back pressure P1 which is impod on a pump 5 by a water supply rervoir is measured by means of a pump back pressure gauge 2, and the result is nt to a computing part 3. The measured value of the quantity Q of the supply water coming out from a pump 5 is also supplied to the computing part 3. A pump pressure computing part 6 calculates pump pressure P2 that is necessary to keep the end pressure P0 constant. A computing part 7 to calculate the number of pumps to be operated figures out said number of pumps from the characteristic curves on the parallel operation of the pump, and the compating part 7 determines the number of pumps to be operated, taking the supply water quantity Q1', Q2', and Q3' as switching points.
