摘要：A rotor includes a plurality of arcuately arranged magnets and a core including a plurality of arcuately arranged pole gments alternating with the magnets, such that each of the magnets is at least in part interpod between adjacent pole gments. The
pole gments at least in part cooperatively prent an annular core face at least in part defining a core envelope. Each of the pole gments includes a main body and a pair of ears. The main body prents a body face extending concentrically with the axis, dispod along the envelope, and prenting a pair of arcuately spaced apart body edges. The ears each extend generally arcuately outwardly from a corresponding body edge and prent a substantially flat ear face extending directly from the body edge. Each of the ear faces is dispod radially inside the envelope.
