《雾都孤儿》英语读后感 篇1
The days, I finished reading a book, called "oliver twist"
"Oliver twist" is one of the biggest British novelist, Charles Dickenss 1838 novel, is also one of his reprentative works.
This book reflects the early 19th century British society at the bottom of the life, the hero oliver, let me very sympathetic to the sad. He was 11 years old, but in life, every day do not have enough to eat and wear not warm, and a few times go den, but he didnt and the
y together crime, would rather tortured colluding with them, and with a strong will to resist the bad bullying and temptation, later merry lady saved oliver, and took him in. After a period of time, and oliver lived a happy life.
单人旅途After read this book, my heart cant be calm once in a long time, the heroines age and I like big, but, compared with his, our life is how of happiness, but we still dont meet, meet a little difficult, give up, lack of willpower. I want to learn oliver, strong quality, overcome all difficulties and obstacles, to cherish everything now, study hard, become a uful person to society.
Learn to love and care Here I am sitting on a couch alone thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the lfishness of the cular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens. the resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all
the characters in the novel but what this aloof society lacks and what I lack deep inside. The supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care.
Tho charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth which was carved into my heart deeply. Mr. Brownlow is one such person. the other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves Artful Dodger and Charley Bates and thought naturally it was Oliver who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves that had done it becau he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful he caught Oliver and nt him to the police station where the ill-tempered unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy Mr. Brownlow took the injured poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day however Mr. Brownlow asked Oli
ver to return some books to the bookller and to nd some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the cond time not caring if he had done something evil. Perhaps most of us would feel confud about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not ven times but venty-times ven.” Why is that? Becau forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for.
We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a cond chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others.

Today, I read the work orphan in fog by Charles Dickens, a famous British novelist.
The story tells of an orphan named Oliver. At the age of 9, he was nt to the factory and coffin shop as an apprentice. Finally, he could not bear it. He fled to London and met the Fagin group who lived by stealing and was forced to be a part of it. After all kinds of tribulations, I finally lived a happy life with Grandpa.
There are many impressive characters in the novel, especially Nancy. She is kind-hearted and helpful. Thanks to her help, Oliver was able to escape from the Fagin group. Although she also had hesitation and fear, she finally obeyed her conscience, risked death, and helped the lovely and poor Oliver. Although she died at last, she became the most important character in the novel and left an indelible impression on me.
After reading the novel, my heart is hard to calm for a long time. Oliver as the protagonist of the novel, Shenghua in that era, she was unfortunate, as an orphan, she suffered a lot, compared with her, as a peer of me, how lucky Shenghua in such a comfortable, happy era. So I want to cherish my words now.高清壁纸女
