2. Ask Ss to e some pictures to e the differences. Then compare some of their things with each other.
e.g. Ball A is bigger than Ball B.
Summarize the Comparatives. Group competition.
A + be(V) + 比较级 + than + B.
2. Show the new words to Ss.

◆ both意为“两个;两个都”。它在句中可作主语、宾语、定语和同位语。如:

◆ both ... and ... 意为“既……又……;……和……”,连接两个并列成分。当连接两个并列主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。如:

比较级是怎么变化的呢?
形容词或副词的比较级形式:

(一般在词尾 + er )

(以不发音的字母 e 结尾的 + r )
thin thinner
(重读闭音节词词尾只有一个辅音字母时,先双写辅音字母再 + er)
early earlier
(以辅音字母 + y 结尾的单 下定义的例子词,变 y 为 i + er )

(多音节词和部分双音节词前加more)
