Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to t off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,becau they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck . People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune .

2元宵节(农历一月十五日) Lantern Festival
农历正月十五为元宵节，节日里有吃元宵、观花灯、耍社火、猜灯谜等习俗。
什么教育Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets, attracting countless visitors. Children will hold lf-made or bought lanterns to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is an esntial part of the Festival. Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will get a little gift. The activity emerged during people's enjoyment of lanterns in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.
People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with ro petals, same, bean paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried
fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling. Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s more, tangyuan in Chine has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.
In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

俗称"龙抬头"，也叫青龙节，是一年农业生产开始的标志。活动有撒灰引龙、熏虫、挑菜、忌针线（以防"扎坏龙眼"）等。关于此节风俗的记载唐代就有。要动素食。

祭扫祖坟、踏青游春，忌动烟火。
Qing Ming is a time to remember the dead and the dearly departed. More important, it is a period to honour and to pay respect to one's decead ancestors and family members. Becau it reinforces the ethic of filial piety, Qing Ming is a major Chine festival.
Literally meaning "clear" (Qing) and "bright" (Ming), this Chine festival falls in early spring, on the 106th day after the winter solstice. It is a "spring" festival, and it is an occasion for the whole family to leave the home and to sweep the graves of their forebear
s. Chine being practical people this sweeping of the graves is given an extended period, that is, 10 days before and after Qing Ming day. Among some dialect groups a whole month is allocated.
5端午节(农历五月初五) Dragon Boat Festival
也叫端阳节，相传是为纪念屈原而来。主要有吃五行通背拳粽子、赛龙舟的活动，
游江The Dragon Boat Festival ,also called the Duanwu Festival ,is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chine calendar.People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.
The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races,especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. It's very popular.
The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice,meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings.They are very delicious.And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himlf in a river.

也叫乞巧节，传说是牛郎织女鹊桥相会的日子。也称为中国的爱情节。
The Double Seventh Festival refers to the venth night of the venth lunar month. It is a traditional folk festival of the Han people. This night is not only the time when the legendary Cowherd and the Girl Weaver are suppod to have their annual meeting, but also a good opportunity for women to pray for the Girl Weaver for the purpo of eking dexterity. Therefore, this festival is also named " Maiden's Day", " Daughter's Day"
