实验动物治理和使用委员会将确保实验动物品系的适当性及所需最小量来保证实验操作的可靠性。The IACUC is mandated to certify that investigators are using the appropriate species and the minimal number of animals necessary, and that alternative approaches have been considered. This is only possible when the committee is provided with sufficient insight into the goals and strategies for the experiment.
