第九章 汉语使字句的翻译

汉语中使字句是常见的句型，总的来说翻译使字句时的处理方法有：
一、结合法：把“使”和主句动词结合起来，译作及物动词，成为“主语+及物动词+宾语”的句子。
二、Make结构：利用make+宾语+宾语被足语（名词或动词）结构。
三、切割法：把“使”字前后的部分切割开来，使用动词短语（result from, lead to, contribute to, give ri to, etc.），介词短语（due to, becau of, owing to, thanks to, etc.），或者因果关系连词（so that, becau, as, since, etc.）连接。
四、分词结构：利用-ing分词置于句尾表示结果。

-ing分词放置于句尾，可以用来表示前面主句产生的结果， 由于使字句中“使”字前后往往
有因果关系， 也可以采用分词来译使动词。
7. 建筑工地的噪音使附近居民晚上几乎无法入睡。
