Passage 1
I learnt to read at the age of four. Like any child who just had first reading experience, I was very excited. My reading interests were mostly picture books and alphabet (1 ) cards. Books like Miffy Goes to School had brightly-colored pictures and only on ntence on each pages. Still, I never grew bored of them, and I read them repeatedly (2 ).
Enid Blyton’s books were introduced to me when I was in Primary One, Goblins and fairies (3 ) enchanted基金转换 (4 ) me. The delightful (5 ) storytelling回族风俗 (6 ) kept me glued to Blyton’s wonderful tales. I fell in love with the tale of Amelia Jane the rag-doll and her toy friends that come alive at night. The adorable (7 ) toys always found themlves in funny adventures. This was why I kept a Blyton book by my bedside. I often fell asleep wondering if my own toys wound come alive like in tho stories.
