plenty of 意为“充足的，大量的”，其后可接可数名词复数和不可数名词。“plenty of+可数名词复数/不可数名词”做主语时，谓语动词的数与of后名词的数保持一致。

用法详解
意为“阻止……做……”，from后接doing,若do与prevent的实语sb./sth.之间构成逻辑上的动宾关系，则用being done。from可以省略。

特别提醒
夜里睡不着觉是什么原因引起的在from doing sth.中from不可省略，因为doing sth.意为“让……一直做某事”；而from doing sth.用于主动语态时，其中的from均可省略，但是用于被动语态时，from不可省略。
