摘要：An ophthalmic lens for providing a monofocal vision correction power with an enhanced depth of focus is adapted to be implanted into an eye, placed over the eye, or to be dispod in a cornea of the eye. The ophthalmic lens includes a baline diopter power for far vision correction, a first zone having a first vision correction power, and a cond zone having a cond vision correction power. The cond zone is located radially outwardly of the first zone. The first zone includes a near vision correction power, and the cond zone includes a far vision correction power. A maximum diopter value of the first zone is approximately .7 diopters above the baline diopter, and a minimum diopter value of the cond zone is approximately .5 diopters below the baline diopter power. The first zone is adapted for focusing light at a first predetermined distance from the retina of the ur, and the cond zone is adapted for focusing light at a cond predetermined distance from the retina of the ur. The cond predetermined distance is approximately opposite and equal to the first predetermined distance. A third zone, which is substantially similar to the first zone, is located radially outwardly of the cond zone, and a fourth zone, which is substantially similar to the cond zone, is located radially outwardly of the third zone.
