王俊凯联合国环境⼤会英⽂演讲
2019年3⽉17⽇，最年轻的联合国环境署亲善⼤使(United Nations Environment Program Goodwill Ambassador)王俊凯结束为期6天的⾮洲公益之⾏，踏上回国路程。
此次⾏程，王俊凯应联合国环境署邀请出席在肯尼亚内罗毕举⾏的第四届联合国环境⼤会(4th UN Environment Asmbly)，并在联合国可持续时尚联盟(United Nations Alliance for Sustainable Fashion)发布会上发表英⽂演讲。Remarks by Wang Junkai at the 4th UN Environment Asmbly
癣是什么原因引起的I’d now like to turn to a very special guest, Mr. Karry Wang, the youngest United Nations Environment Program Goodwill Ambassador, is also, I think, a very fashionable gentleman, and I hope we’ll learn what makes his passion for sustainable fashion drive us to the 2030 Agenda. Your excellency,
Good afternoon! I’m Karry Wang from China. It is a great honor to be here with you today and speak for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals launched by the United Nations in 2015. The goals have become the beacon of national efforts all across the Earth.
Common concerns have been: one, how do we promote and achieve the goals? And two, how do we better lead the public’s attention and participation?
The fashion industry is crucial to achieving Sustainable Development Goals. Every customer’s choice in the fashion field has an impact on our future. Fashion is not something that is found in dress only; fashion is in the sky, in the street[s], in the mind. Fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, the way we think and what is happening around the world. It is cloly related to every country and everyone. For example, we can save water by choosing natural pigments instead, and we can even make full u of recycled materials to lead new fashion trends in our daily lives. If we can consciously change consumption behavior and have sustainable lifestyles, then it’s new fashion.
Today, we’re about to witness the launch of the United Nations Alliance for Sustainable Fashion, which I believe will be fashion a whole new mission and build a platform for discussion and engagements of sustainable fashion. More institutions and brands across the world can be involved, contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
Now, I ask you, plea team up with me to advocate for and support sustainable fashion and cure a better sustainable future for people and our planet.
