1. 在lack作为动词使用的时候，大部分同学都会习惯性地加上of，这是最最最常见的错误；

2. lack作为动词使用的时候，不需要加上be动词；
错误：An increasing number of people are lack of the awareness of cooperation.
正确：An increasing number of people lack the awareness of cooperation.
3. lack作为动词的时候常用一般现在时态，但是如果表示某物缺短缺的话，会用到现在进行时态；
正确：In many countries, skilled workers are lacking.

4. lack作为名词的时候一般不会被用错，常见的固定搭配就是：a/the lack of ....... 在这里提醒大家的是，这个短语可以很灵活地用来增加句型variety。
