学习内容
学会表达自己做事情的频率,并通过谈论自己自己的生活习惯和吃东西的频率,学会选择健康的生活方式。
常用词组:

难点精讲
1. But my mother wants me to drink it. 但是我妈妈让我喝(奶)。
want 后既可以接动词不定式做宾语,又可以接动词不定式做宾语补足语。本句即动词不定
式做宾语补足语。例如:
1She wanted to give her children to eat something nice.(动词不定式做宾语)她想给她的孩子吃些好吃的东西。
2My mother wants me to be a doctor.(动词不定式做宾语补足语)我妈妈希望我成为一名医生。
2. How many hours do you sleep every night?你每天睡多少个小时?
how many hours为“多少个小时之意”,其实就是how many+可数名词的复数形式,同样用法的还有how many times, 千万不要和本单元的重点how often混淆,how often提问的是频率。也不要等同于how longhow long提问的是“多久,多长一段时间(或距离)例如:
1How many hours does it take to fly to Shanghai from here? 从这里坐飞机去上海要用几个小时?
2How long does it take to fly to Guangzhou from here?从这坐飞机去广州到花多长一段时间?
3. And my eating habits are pretty good.并且我的饮食习惯是很好的。
eating在这里是供应链优化eat的动名词形式,做定语修饰名词。例如:
1China is a developing country. 中国是一个发展中国家。
2There are too many people in the sleeping car. 卧铺车厢里有太多的人。
pretty一词有两个意思,一是“很,相当 ”,相当于rather; fairly,一是“美丽的”,相当于beautiful。但语气比beautiful弱。多用来形容年轻女性。例如:
1) The wind blew pretty hard. 风刮得很猛烈。
2) Lucy is a pretty girl. 露西是个标致的姑娘。
4. I think I’m kind of unhealthy. 我认为我的生活方式有点儿不健康的。
kind of 有几分,有点。例如:
1He looks kind of tired.他看上去有点累。
2) The manager kind of thought this would happen.经理多少料到此事会发生。
5.So maybe I’m not very healthy, although I do have one healthy habit.虽然我确实有一个很健康的(生活)习惯,但我(的身体)可能却不是很健康。
句中although 等于though ,引导的是让步状语从句。在汉语中,人们常说“虽然……芷江战役但是……”,而英语中,thoughalthough不能和but用在同一句中。thoughalthough可以引导让步状语从句放在句首或句中,但but引导的是并列句,要放在句中。例如:
1)Little Kate went to school though it rained heavily yesterday. 虽然昨天雨下得很大,但小凯特仍然去上学。
2) Though it was too late, they still went on working.虽然天很晚了,但他们仍然继续工作。
  It was too late , but they still went on working.
“do have确实有。在肯定句中,助动词+实义动词为强调,意思是“确实”(用于加重语气) 例如:
1) Do be careful.千万要小心!
2) We did succeed.我们果然成功了。

解析How often为对频率提问。  How long  为提问时间持续的长度。 How soon 为提问“要过多久之后”,回答一般为“in+一段时间”  How far为提问多远,回答为距离。从本题的回答为“仅在周末”来看,应为对频率的提问。

解析how many times为提问“多少次”所以应回答three timesThree times a year应是用来回答how often提问的。两次的表达方式为twice,所以C选项不对。
