Unit 8 From Fat to Fit
SECTION I Talking Face to Face(2课时)
教学目的,要求:能熟读对话,认知单词,掌握基本句型。
重点与难点:掌握课文所给的句型和短语;根据提示语境灵活运用句型和短语。
教学方法与手段:在学习5个短小精练,生动有趣,针对性强,主题突出的小对话之后分别设定了一个相关的交际“任务”。教师引导学生根据上文样例及配套的拓展教程中Data Bank所提供相关语言材料进行口头交际模仿套用练习,取得边学边用的效果。

授课主要内容:
Step one: Imitating Mini-talks
1.Speak and Recite: Works in pairs. Practice the following mini-talks about greeting and introducing people.
Step two: Speak and Perform
2.Work in pairs and act out the tasks by following the above mini-talks.
Step three: Study and Imitate
Step four: Following Sample Dialogues

SECTION II Being All Ears(1课时)
教学目的,要求:能在规定时间内听懂录音材料,并完成相应的练习。
重点与难点:利用听力材料提高学生听力水平,教授听力技巧并要求学生掌握。
教学方法与手段:在“说”的基础上,围绕同一话题进行听力训练,通过听的内容,使听说训练的范围进一步扩大。教材从“听——判断”、“听——记录”、“听——归纳”、“听——阅读”四种技能入手,重点培养学生综合理解语言内容的能力。
所需的教学仪器和设备:教学课件,多媒体设备
授课主要内容:
1.Give students a few minutes to read through the printed materials for each listening item.
2.Listen to the tape for the fist time without looking at the book.
3.Play the tape for a cond time with a pau after each ntence, and ask the students to take note of the key words.
4.Play the tape for the third time, and ask students to simultaneously repeat the passage while they are listening.

授课主要内容:

Write and Describe a Picture
Have you ever en someone get burnt by accident? This is the ca where the firstaid kit is needed. Sometimes, knowing what to do for an injured person before a doctor gets to the scene can make all the difference between life and death in an emergency. If the p
erson is burnt riously, try to protect the burnt parts from being infected. If mild, with skin unbroken, put the burnt area into ice water until the pain stops. While applying first aid, nd for an ambulance as soon as possible.
