4.6 PMI Procedure

1.0Scope范围
The procedure defines the working requirements, operation procedure and methods of POSITIVE MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION (PMI) for the project. It will be ud for following works:
本程序阐述了该项目中PMI工作要求、操作程序和方法，将适用于以下工作：
a.Identification of alloy steel when accepting, composition examination of various material elements as shown, but can’t be ud as the proof and testimony of material identification;
在验收时，对合金钢进行验证及各种材料成分进行检查，但不能作为材料验证的证明；
b.Ba material identification and welds element analysis of field piping and vesl to be fabricated and installed;
现场制作及安装的管道及容器的母材验证和焊缝元素分析；
2.0Purpo目的

Define the minimum requirements of spectrum analysis to assure the analyzing quality meeting requirements stated in relevant standard and specifications, and Owner’s requirements.
规定了光谱分析的最低要求，确保分析质量满足相关规范、标准和业主的要求。
3.0Quality Control质量控制
3.1Workers’ Qualification工人资格
Test worker / operator shall have relevant qualifications and experiences, and trained for the proper operation of PMI equipment, and shall be approved by Owner /MWP according to the qualification documents submitted.
试验工人/操作人员要有相应的资格和经验，要经过PMI设备操作培训，并得到业主或MWP
的批准。
Test operator must be capable of proper operating and recording, evaluating and issuing the test reports.
试验操作人员要能够正确进行操作和记录，评估和发放试验报告。

Before start of PMI operation and after completion of the operation, all PMI instrument shall be calibrated according to Operation Instructions.
在PMI操作开始前和结束后，要根据操作说明对所有PMI仪器进行校准。

All PMI instrument can only be ud within the validity period of calibration (Including battery, radioactive source, etc.). Date of the last operation shall be recorded in PMI reports.
所有PMI仪器只能在校准有效期内使用（包括电池，放射源等）。最后操作日期要记录在PMI报告中。
3.3Document Control资料控制
Execution procedure of PMI shall be checked and approved by Owner/MWP.
PMI实施程序要由业主/MWP审核和批准。

Format and contents of spectrum analysis reports shall be confirmed by Owner/MWP and supervisory staff, and such reports shall be fully implemented. Each copy of report shall contain following information as a minimum.
光谱分析报告的格式和内容由业主/MWP和监理进行确认，应完全履行报告。每一份报告至少要包括以下内容：
a)Project name and contract no.
项目名称和合同编号
b)PMI report no. (no repeating)
PMI报告编号（没有重复）
c)Codes of material, and purcha order
材料编号及定单编号
d)Name of material and equipment vendor, and piping pre-fab. Co.
材料设备供货商和管道预制公司名称
e)Third-party (if test performed by third party)

4.0HSE Management HSE管理
4.1All test workers / operators must attend the safety training before working on site.
现场工作开始前，所有试验工人/操作人员必须参加安全培训。
揭阳小吃4.2Comply with field safety rules and requirements, and all personnel and workers must correctly wear safety helmet, goggles, and other PPE.
所有人员要遵循现场安全规章和要求，正确佩带安全帽、护目镜及其它个人保护用品。
4.3When working in confined area, ventilation equipment and lighting with safety voltage and watchman shall be made available for protection.
在受限区域工作时，要有通风设备和安全电压照明，并有人员看守。
4.4Comply with field environmental protection regulations, and conduct the works in a proper way.
进行工作时，要遵循现场环境保护规章。
