Teaching Procedure
Step 1 Warming up
豆沙蛋黄月饼>病起书怀1. The students guess What the teacher do on Dragon Boat Festival using Yes or No questions.
2. The teacher shows some photos on the screen and Ss guess what the teacher did.
Step 2 Jigsaw Reading
1.Give each group an envelope in which there is my article. There are some paragraphs in the envelope. Ss reorder the paragraphs and stick them on a card to form an article.
2. Encourage the Ss to create a title for the article and write it on the card.
Step 3 Reading for structure
1. Skim and match
Ask the Ss to match the paragraphs with the ideas of each paragraphs.
2. Show a hamburger on the screen to explain the structure: introduction, main body and conclusion.
Step 4 Group work
1. Ask Ss to talk about the following questions:
What did you do on the holiday?
Who did you spend your festival with?
What do you think of your holiday?
……
2. Write an article about how they spent the Dragon Boat Festival.

Step 5 Show time.
The teacher collects all the articles and ask three Ss to pick randomly, each student reads one article in front of the class.
Step 6 Homework
Ask Ss to improve and perfect their articles and stick them on their study garden.
