摘要：A sleeve (10) which is slid over the blade (11) of a knife (12) or the like and includes two interconnected ctions (22, 24). One of the ctions (24) includes a plurality of spaced molded clips (46) formed in and spaced along a shoulder (66) which extends around the periphery of one ction (24). The other ction (22) includes a plurality of cut-outs (74) formed in and spaced along a shoulder (66) which extends around the periphery of the other ction. The clips (46) on the one ction (24) extend through the openings defined by the cut-outs (74) in the other ction respectively and latch onto the shoulder on the other ction for coupling the first and cond ctions (22, 24) together to form the sleeve.
