and rural population among 1990, 2000 and 2O1O.The number of urban residents climbed steadily from 300 million in 1990 to 660 million or so in 2010, while rural population decread slightly from about 820 million to 680 million or so in the same period.
It is not difficult to come up with some possible factors accounting for this trend. On the one hand, with the rapid developme nt of economy and society, people in moun ti ng nu mbers crowd into cities in arch of employment, a decent living and the excitement of urban life recently. On the other hand, the economy in the rural districts is comparative less developed and thus the opport unity to m
ake money and pursue their future is as well lea n. As a result, an increasing number of folks are trying to escape this destiny by flocking into the urban areas.

Why do stude nts of higher grade prefer to be part-time workers while fewer freshme n ta ke the kind of jobs? From the statistics shown in the table above, we can find the dramatic differences in a survey about working satisfaction in a company. The company employees are categorized into three groups by the
ir ages: below 40, 41-50 and over 50. And meanwhile, the survey gives us three degrees of their satisfact ion on their jobs.
In the first column, we can find that the most satisfied workers of all are tho who over
50, becau they account for the largest proportion in the table, at 40 per cent, while the workers below 40 are the cond most satisfied workers in the company, and this makes up 16.7% of the total survey. And we also find that no one betwee n 41 and 50 is content with their jobs. In the c ond colu mn, we know that half of the youn gest and oldest workers do not express their opinions about their satisfact ion on their jobs, whereas 36% workers who are between 41 and 50 show the same idea. The third column indicates that the people in the middle don ' t like their jobs which repent 64%. And the youngest and oldest the employees are not satisfied with their jobs, at 33.3% and 10% respectively.
Taking everyth ing into con siderati on, we may easily come to a con clusi on that nior works are more satisfied with their jobs. But some measures should be adopted quickly to improve their employees ' satisfact ion.

This bar chart in dicates differe nt market shares of automobiles of three types of brand affiliati ons betwee n 2008 and 2009 .In 2008, cars with Japa ne brands topped the three types of vehicles, accounting for 35% of the total market. What follows is the cars with Chine bran ds, hitti ng 25% of the auto market, with the share of America n brand bottomed out at 15%. In 2009, some developments are noticeable in that the cars with the largest share became tho of Chin e bran ds, which occupied roughly 32% of the market, while cars with Japa ne and America n brands took 25% and 15% of the whole market respectively.
It is obrved that betwee n 2008 and 2009, cars of Chin e and Japa ne brands took turns to be the No.1 in terms of market share while tho with American brands ranked the last in both years. And the share of Chin e-bra nd cars wit nesd a mild in crea and that of the Japa ne-bra nd cars saw a moderate decrea, while the America n-bra nd cars stayed the same.
From this graph, we can come to the safe con clusi on that the Chin e automakers are doing a good job in outcompeting their Japane and American counterparts in 2009, but the gap is not so significant and if no efforts were made from the part of the Chine auto industry, the distribution map might be rewritten in the future.
