A valuable lesson
During our life, there are always moments that give us valuable lessons, becau they can taught something important about ourlves. As for me, 群情激奋I will never forget my first volunteer experience.
During the summer vacation of my venth grade, our class went to to an orphan home in our city to help the children there. At first, we gave away some meaningful story books and stationery to them. Then we talked about 如何做奶茶our school life to them. I was quite shy before, to my surpri, I talked with some kids for almost an hour without intermission. I shared my effective study methods with them excitedly. And I even showed some children some skills which I learned from my PE teacher on how to play badminton better. Finally, we played games together. All of us felt so happy.
That volunteer work really taught me a lesson, which I will never forget. I felt the truth of t
ho words, which I never understood before that: “It is more blesd to give than to receive.” That day, I not only gained happiness, but also became more confident and outgoing to communicate with others. More importantly, it made me realize that giving is receiving.

Keep patient when facing difficulties
I still remember the first time I rode bicycle when I was ven. My sister pushed the bicycle to help me. Few minutes later, she let it go, and I fell in the ground. She asked me to try one more time, while I was extremely impatient after failing veral times. The way she told didn’t suit me quite well. At last I took a deep breath, and tried my best to have the final time. Unbelievable, I succeed. When I am in trouble now, I always tell mylf “keep patient and don’t give up.” Maybe just try another time, everyone will taste the fruits of victory.

Confidence has changed me
Recently I’ve had a change in my life. It makes me realize that how important it is for me to be confident.
The story happened a year ago. At that time I was very poor at math and my maths score was so disappointing that I became mad at mylf. But my teacher told me that I could have done much better if I believed in mylf. Every time I met with some maths problems, I told mylf “You should be confident and you can do it”. And out of my expectation, I got an A in my maths exam a month later. Not until then did I realize I had a
gift for maths and there is nothing that we cannot do if we are confident enough.
