PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine that prevents improper copying, by monitoring whether a copy is within a restriction when a ur takes a copy of a copy-restricted document.

The copying apparatus includes: a ur ID acquisition part for acquiring the ur ID; a book ID acquisition part for acquiring the book ID; a first acquisition part for acquiring one of the institute library categories, which corresponds to the ur ID, from the management rver; a cond acquisition part for acquiring one of the book library categories, which corresponds to the book ID, from the management rver; and a copying control ction for controlling the copying of the book bad on
the institute library category and the book library category.
