摘要：PURPOSE:To form sludge particles within a short period, by a method wherein ed sludge lowered in the content of an org. substance is allowed to stand in a reaction container to be dimented and org. raw water low in SS content is introduced into the reaction container to be mixed with sludge while the pH of the sludge layer part is adjusted. CONSTITUTION:Fresh sludge is introduced into a reaction container 1 so that a sludge layer with a predetermined thickness and predetermined VSS are obtained and recirculated for veral days to digest and decompo the org. substance in sludge and allowed to stand to be dimented in a layered form to form ed sludge. Subquently, the org. raw water low in SS content stored in a raw water tank is made to flow in the bottom part of the dimented sludge layer 3 from a raw water inlet 2 through a raw water pump. Then, operation is performed while the load of the org. substance is successively enhanced to granulate sludge. After sludge particles are formed, the introducing speed of raw water is further accelerated and, during the introduction, alkali is added through a pH control pump to prevent the pH of the sludge layer from becoming strongly acidic.
