描写城市的词语Though（Although）和But到底怎么正确使⽤？
汉语中，though（although）和but往往都翻译为‘但是’或者‘尽管’，貌似两者为同义词。其实不然。
⾸先，两者引出的从句的重要性完全不同。Though引出的是次要观点，起着削弱前述观点的作⽤；⽽but则引出主要观点。例如：最美的相遇
(a) I would follow you anywhere in the world you’d care to go. But I don’t trust you. 这⾥的重点是不信任，所以不会去。
(b) I would follow you anywhere in the world you’d care to go, though I don’t trust you. 这⾥的重点是会去，尽管存在不信任。
会计会>文雅其次，though常常放在句末，⽽but则不会如此。例如：大悲咒歌词
Jane ud to live next door to us. I haven't en her in years, though.
第三，though置于句末还可以起强调作⽤，但although不可以置于句末。例如：
Aren't you the clever little devil, though!

第四，如果though表⽰although或even though【⽐although语⽓强】的意思，也就是despite the fact that的含义，它应该放在句⾸，起到对⽐作⽤。例如：
Although it was raining, we went for a walk.
第五，在although和but都⽤于对⽐的情况下，although从句不能与主句调换位置【两部分不对等】，但although从句本⾝可以前置或后置，⽽but从句则可以【当然，强调重点也调换了】。例如：小灵通漫游未来读后感
(a) Although it was raining, we went for a walk. 但不能说Although we went for a walk, it was raining.【逻辑上不通，因为rain不可能考虑walk这⼀事实】。可以说We went for a walk, although it was raining.
(b) It was raining, but we went for a walk. 【重点是去散步】 We went for a walk, but it was raining. 【重点是下⾬了】
第六，though为although的⾮正式说法。
最后，⼀句话⾥头⽤了though（although）就不要再⽤but。两者同时使⽤是国⼈使⽤英语的常见错误之⼀。例如：Although she was not feeling well, but she went to work. 【可以去掉任何⼀个，但强调重点有所不同】
