1.A Sentential Adverb
在句中插入副词/副词性词组，从而强调副词旁边的词语

→But the lake was not,in fact,drained before April.
2.Asyndeton
省略掉词语、词组、从句间的连词
On his return,he received medals,honors,treasures,titles,fame.
(此句中省略掉and，给人还未列举完的感觉)
3.Polysyndeton
在各个词语、词组、从句间都加入连词，与asyndeton相反
They read and studied and wrote and drilled.I laughed and played and talked and flunked.
4.Understatement轻描淡写
故意将事情的重要性降低。出于讽刺、礼貌、简洁等目的。

7.Chiasmus交错配列
句子的前后两部分语法结构颠倒过来。

8.Zeugma
有语法联系的词语用在相似的修辞手法中。
一个主语带若干动词
一个动词带若干宾语
若干主语带一个动词……

9.Antithesis对偶
