动名词
一、动名词，即动词后加ing 的形式，即doing sth. 它的作用相当于一个名词，所以叫做“动名词”。
二、用法
1、作主语时，谓语动词用单数（is/ helps….）
例如：Eating vegetables is good for health.
2、作宾语
①用动名词作宾语的动词：enjoy, finish, mind, practi, keep (on), imagine, admit, consider, deny , give up, avoid, delay, suggest，appreciate, enjoy, can't help
②动名词（短语）还常常跟在短语动词之后。
give up doing、feel like doing 、be worth doing、be busy doing、prevent…from doing
have difficulty (in) doing sth.
③介词后面如果出现动词的话，肯定是用动名词介词+doing
In, on, at, of, for, from, about, before, after, without, by, up…..
注意：
look forward to doing盼望/期望做某事, get (be) ud to doing习惯于做某事,
公司创业pay attention to doing注意做某事, prefer doing A to doing B 宁愿做A事也不做B事It is no good/ us e doing做…没有好处/没有用
④区别
有的动词尽管可以用两种结构，但意义明显不同，须认真加以区别：
Stop, remember, forget, go on, try + to do
日暮苍山远doing
Stop doing 停止正在做的事Stop to do 停下来去做另外的事
go on doing 继续做原来正在做的事go on to do 接着去做另外的事
remember doing 记得曾经做过的事（已经做了）
remember to do 记得要去做某事（还没有做）
forget doing 忘记曾经做过的事（已经做了）

try doing 尝试着去做某事try to do 设法去做某事
例如：
I forgot to clo the door before I left the room.
I forgot having clod the door.
He tried to write better. (尽量努力地写)
乡村振兴文化振兴He tried writing with a brush. (用毛笔试着写)
I couldn’t help finishing it. (不能不结束某事)
I couldn’t help to finish it. (不能帮助结束某事)
They left off fishing. (停止钓鱼)
They left off to fish. (离开某处出发去钓鱼)
I regret to say that there is no wine in the bottle. (对现在要发生的事表示遗憾、抱歉)
I regret not taking your advice. (后悔)
