赏析：
The theme of Burns's poem is, yes, about love. Burns us two metaphors to define his love for the lady of his affections-- both a ro, and a melody "sweetly play'd in tune". It ems as though he's leaving for a period of time, and this is a farewell poem to his lass. However, before he leaves, he is declaring his undying devotion, saying that the oceans will dry up before his love for her runs out. A simple, yet classic love poem.
