009 to study violin at the Shanghai Conrvatory of Music. “At that time I could not speak a word of Chine, let alone my poor English,” she said. “So I decided to learn Chine to solve the communication problem.” Her love for Chine culture, including Jackie Chan movies and stories of Mulan, helped her through all the difficulties.
