第一课时 Welcome to the unit
1. What's in the bag?
what, who, which是特殊疑问代词,充当主语时一般谓语动词用单数;
在给定的范围内选择用which,没有范围用what;
what/which可以充当限定词,修饰名词,构成特殊疑问词部分;
Eg. What festival do you like best?
Which festival do you like better, May day or National Day?
—There are some clothes in the bag. (就划线部分提问)  —What' s in the bag?
2. I want to dress up as a ghost.
dress n. 连衣裙 (pl. dress)
vt. (给某人)穿衣服  dress sb. ( dress- dress )
vi. 装扮dress 装扮成......  dress sb. 把某人装扮成......
wear vt.  穿(衣服.鞋子), 戴 (首饰)    wear sth. / color
Eg. wear a dress穿裙子  wear black穿黑色衣服
in  prep. 穿着    be in sth /color
Eg. He is in a black coat today. = He is wearing a black coat today.
3. All my family get together and have a big dinner.
all my family = all of my family = all of my family members
family 指一个整体时是单数, 指其中的成员时是复数;  (pl: families)
Eg: —Do you know the family next door?    —They are from the USA.
The Webb family has its farm over there.
have a big dinner 吃顿大餐
have dinner 吃饭                have sth. for dinner 晚饭吃.....
cook/ make dinner 烧晚饭        ask sb. to dinner 邀请某人吃晚饭
go out for dinner 出去吃晚饭
第二课时 Reading I
1. Halloween is on October 31.
Halloween is on October31. = Halloween comes on October 31.
    on Halloween在万圣节前夕
at Halloween 在万圣节期间(前后几天)
类似的有: on Christmas在圣诞节那天 / at Christmas在圣诞节期间
2. When the evening comes, we visit hous and play a game with the people inside.
When the evening comes 是句中的时间状语从句;
when conj.  当....的时候
Eg. When I am at school, I feel quite happy.  我上学的时候很开心。
when adv.  何时, 什么时候
Eg. When can we e him?  我们什么时候能见到他?
1 don't know when to e him.  我不知道什么时候见他。开放端口
visit hous 拜访左邻右舍 (hou / haus/,hous /’ hauziz/)
3. Usually they give us some candy as a treat. If they do not give us a treat, we play a trick on them.
treat n.  招待
give sb. sth. as a treat. 用......招待某人 (give-giving)
do sth. as a treat 做......作为招待
Eg. cook dinner for sb. as a treat 烧饭招待某人
give sb. a treat招待某人= treat (vt.) sb.
trick n. 诡计,把戏
play a trick / tricks on sb.  捉弄某人
trick or treat不招待,就使坏
第三课时 ReadingⅡ
1. We always have a party on the morning of October 31 and enjoy nice food and drinks.
坚定不移的近义词    have / give a party 举办联欢会 (pl. parties)
come / go to a party 参加联欢会 / at a party 在联欢会上
涂长望②送别合唱    on the morning of October31  (特指具体某一天的某个部分)
Eg. on Monday morning
    enjoy vt.  享受......的乐趣; 喜欢 (enjoy- enjoys / enjoying)
enjoy sth. / enjoy doing
2. People make lanterns out of oranges.
make vt. 制作 (make- making)
Eg. make tea / coffee 泡茶 / 泡咖啡        make the bed 铺床
make a phone call 打电话                make money 挣钱
make sb. do sth. 使某人做某事 (致使某人去做)
let sb. do sth. 让某人做某事 (允许某人做)
make sth. out of sth. 用...... (原材料) 做......
= make sth. from sth. = u sth. to make sth.
Eg. make lanterns out of oranges = make lanterns from oranges = u oranges to make lanterns

3. We knock on the door and shout “trick or treat”.
knock vi. 敲,击
knock on the door = knock at the door

shout at sb. 对......嚷嚷 (贬义)

特殊疑问词的用法?

how many        多少            对可数名词前的数量提问

how soon            多久以后        对in+一段时间提问(一般用于将来时)上
how long            多长            对一段时间或物体的长短提问

how often        多久 (一次)        对频度副词或频度状语提问
就主语提问直接把主语换成特殊疑问词;
Eg. She is my teacher.  →Who is your teacher?
就定语提问,疑问词和被修饰的名词一起放句首;
Eg. My book is over there. →Who book is over there?
The man in a white shirt is my maths teacher.
Which man is your maths teacher?
就其他部分提问,特殊疑问词放句首,句子进行倒装;
Eg. I live in Wuxi with my family.→Where do you live with your family?
注意:    —What is he?      —He is a teacher. (问职业)
边字的笔画顺序—Who is he?        —He is my teacher. (问身份)
2. What a nice cake!
此句为感叹句: What + adj. +不可数/单数/复数名词+句子其他部分!
How + adj. / adv. +句子其他部分! .
Eg.    What a nice cake it is!
How nice the cake is!
第五课时 Integrated skills
1. Find out more on New York Radio.
    find vt. 发现; 找到 (表示结果, 找到具体的东西)
look for sth. 找; 寻找 (表示动作)
    find out弄清; 查明; 终于找到 (某方面的信息)
find out more了解详情
find + n.+ out = find out + n. (out是副词)
find it out (√)  find out it (×) (代词做宾语只能放中间)
