Shenzhou XV crew(全组) t out for(出发去) space station
The crew members of the Shenzhou XV mission, China's 10th manned spaceflight(载人太空飞行), t out on their journey to the country's Tiangong space station(天宫太空站) on Tuesday night.
A 20-story(层)-tall Long March 2F carrier rocket(运载火箭) blasted off(爆炸) on schedule(按计划) at 11:08 pm from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center(酒泉卫星发射中心) in northwestern China's Gobi Dert and soon placed the Shenzhou XV spacecraft(航天器) in a low-Earth orbit(近地轨道) about 400 kilometers above the ground.
As this was the first time a rocket carrying astronauts was launched in freezing temperatures of nearly minus 20 degrees Celsius, engineers equipped the rocket and its rvice tower(勤务台) with a host of(大量的) cold-proof materials(抗旱材料).
All of the previous nine crewed flights(载人飞行) had been launched between June and October.
Within hours of the launch, the eight-metric-ton(8公吨) spaceship was due to approach and dock with(对接) the Tianhe core module(核心舱) of the Tiangong station.
After docking with the core module, the crew members — 喝酒诗句Major General(少将) Fei Junlong, the mission commander, Senior Colonel(大校) 立即行动Deng Qingming and Senior Colonel Zhang Lu — would open a hatch(孵化仓) 药学专业就业前景and then float into the Tianhe module to meet their peers(同伴) from the Shenzhou XIV mission — Senior Colonel Chen Dong, Senior Colonel Liu Yang and Senior Colonel Cai Xuzhe — who have been in space for nearly six months.银河碧波
In a video the Shenzhou XIV crew nt to Fei's team hours before Tuesday's launch, Chen, Liu and Cai appeared in pullovers(运动衫) which said in Chine "Old Friends Are Coming" and said that they were very much looking forward to the arrival of the Shenzhou XV crew.
Liu and Cai also said: "We will give you a big hug as soon as we meet."
The Shenzhou XV marks mission commander Fei's return to space after 17 years. The 57-year-old was a member of the Shenzhou VI crew in October 2005.
For both Deng, 56, and Zhang, 46, it's their first journey into space. Deng is the last rving member of China's first group of astronauts to take part in a spaceflight while Zhang had been the only one in the cond generation of astronauts without spaceflight experience prior to the mission.

Their arrival will mark the first time that six Chine people have been in space at the same time. There have been at most three Chine astronauts in space 杜鹃花几月开at a time腐乳肉怎么做(每一次).
During the six-month Shenzhou XV mission, Fei's crew will carry out three to four spacewalks to mount(Vt.安装) equipment outside the station. Their major tasks will also include unlocking, installing and testing 15 scientific cabinets(匣子), conducting more than 40 scientific experiments and technological demonstrations, and carrying out six cargo(货物) orbital deployment(部署) operations, according to mission officials.
