一、教学目标
知识目标：
1. 能听、说、认、读新单词：in on under box bedroom 短语in the box/on your desk/under the chair/in your bedroom
2.能掌握描述物品位置的句子： Where is···? It’ in /on/under the···
技能目标：
能熟练运用介词in/on/under来描述物体的具体位置,培养大胆说，动手做的能力。

（1）能掌握、运用单词toy, box, bedroom以及介词in, on, under,behind。 （2） 能运用句型描述物品的位置：It’s in the box. It’s on your desk. It’s under the chair. It’s behind the door. It’s in your bedroom.

设计意图:欣赏的歌曲和课程主题相关既活跃课堂气氛又为下一步头脑风暴做铺垫。

4. Pair work: Where is the ... 氯原子结构示意图
设计意图:头脑风暴让学生自己回忆歌曲中出现的介词,发挥学生的主观能动性,从而引入under 和behind这两个新词。 教师分解behind 一词,让学生从熟悉的单词入手评读,记忆新单词。

设计意图：鼓励学生积极参与学习活动，大胆实践，喜欢用英语与他人交流，体验合作，培养学生的合作精神，让学生体会学习英语的乐趣，帮助学生养成良好的学习英语的习惯。

设计意图:在奖励环节设置问题:“老师准备的礼品在哪里?”学以致用。
学情分析
小学低年级儿童活泼、好动，有意注意的时间短，所以课上要采用形式多样并容易调控的活动，让学生积极主动地全面参与到课堂学习中来。让学生真正成为学习的主人，想尽一切办法，让其多听、多说、多练。注意将教学面向全体，让学生的英语学习更贴近生活，落到实处。
在第一册中，Where’s the bird/cat? Is it in the green bag? No, it isn’t. It’s in the yellow bag.等语句已经学过，介词on的用法也已经学过。What’s this? It’s a … What are they? They’re … 句型，学过动物、运动、食物、科目、衣物类单词。
效果分析
本课的重点是利用in on under和behind四个介词来描述物品的位置。In 和on 在三年级上册学过，虽然有一些学生已经遗忘，但通过热身歌曲的复习，全体学生都能掌握这两个词语。但是under和behind这两个词语掌握程度不如in 和on，尽管有了歌曲导入学习和课文学习的铺垫，但最后小组活动完成worksheet中的句子时，孩子们都愿意选择用in 和on来描述，经过我的提醒后才用了under和behind, 个别小组完成的句子并不理想。
教材分析
本课是小学新标准英语（三年级起点）第二册第八模块的第一单元。第8模块的主要话题是通过大明找礼物，学习方位介词on in under和behind的用法，及如何表达物品所在的位置。
