If you don’t have a cable box or satellite receiver (AKA t-top box), skip the steps for the ttop box. Connect the coaxial cable from the wall into the RF in connection on the next device. If you’re not connecting a broadcast signal source, disregard the steps involving the t-top box and begin with the steps for the equipment you are connecting.

We recommend this hookup to record or view cable or satellite rvice and watch DVDs or DVR recordings on your TV. Your TV must have an HDMI or DVI input and a composite A/V input. The composite A/V cables are required to record to a DVD or the DVR unit as most units will not record through the HDMI connection.

1. Connect the coaxial cable from the wall to the RF IN jack on the t-top box.
Note: If your satellite rvice does not include local channels, you may want to connect a to the TV IN jack on your satellite receiver. Refer to the operating instructions for specific information on switching between satellite and local broadcasts.
2. Connect a composite A/V cable to: a. LINE OUT jack on the t-top box b. LINE IN jacks on the DVD recorder or DVR unit
