This document defines the process for reporting, classifying, investigating, and mitigating incidents, as well as initial notifications and munication of learning from incidents.
2. Area of Application
The requirements of this procedure are applied to all incidents or near miss Bunge Asia facilities involving Bunge employees and contractors in a work-related activity.

4. Process Description
The following is a description of the Bunge system for reporting, classifying and investigating incidents, as well as for initial notifications and municating key aspects including lessons learned.
5.1 General Incident Management Requirements
All incidents within Bunge are considered important events and will be treated as such in order to determine the caus and prevent recurrence. Therefore, all incidents will:
a) Be REPORTED via incident report;
b) Be EVALUATED to determine the appropriate classification according to the Bunge incident classification
criteria;
c) Be INVESTIGATED to determine root caus;
d) Have Learning’s SUMMARIZED and COMMUNICATED to appropriate work groups; and
e) Have corrective actions TRACKED to closure.
三姑f) Each site will incorporate the requirements of this Incident Accident reporting &Management procedure into
their local emergency respon plan/system, as applicable.
g) For incidents with significant on-site impact, site management will promptly take appropriate means to
cure the scene of the incident to prerve evidence for the investigation, so long as such measures do not
interfere with emergency respon, or prolong or enhance any immediate dangers caud by the incident.
In such cas, access to the scene should be controlled – who should have access and the means of
access should be established. If it is not possible to cure the scene, photographs should be taken, and
existing conditions prior to disturbance or demolition should be documented.

5.2.1 Injuries are categorized according to the OSHA guidelines as Lost Time, Restrict work ca OSHA
Recordable and First Aid Ca. Reporting, notification and investigation of injuries meeting the OSHA
guidelines are pleted according to the requirements for the level that is determined. All other types of incidents are classified according to levels of verity
5.2.2 Incident with material loss (property and environmental damage):
Incidents causing damage which affects the facilities, equipment, production machines, product/ raw
material quality and any other element the pany may own, but not causing personal injury. In general, they may be
clasd as follows:
●Fire, Explosion or Fire Focus.
●Spills or Leaks.
●Property Damage (including vehicles).
●Reduction of Production, Product Loss or Raw Material Loss.*
●Product reduction or product loss during transportation *
●Product Contamination. *
When the loss is below USD 1,000, it will be considered as minor property damage incident.
When the loss is exceeded USD 1,000, but below USD 10,000, it will be considered incident with rious
incidents.
5.2.3 Major loss incident: The are accidents/ incidents which shall be deeply investigated. Examples of
the types of accidents include:
●Death or rious and permanent disability injury (limb amputations, total vision loss, rious poisoning, etc.)
●Damage or material loss over USD 10,000.
●Damage to the environment with conquences over the munity and/ or legal intervention risk.
5.2.5 Near Miss:
Examples of a near miss/exposure could include;
● Obrved or lf-reported at-risk work practices,
● Slips or trips that do not result in injury,
● Exposures where personal protective equipment was not worn,
● Tasks where procedures or policy failed to provide adequate protection, e.g., mis-labeled
equipment led to lockout of wrong equipment,
● Faulty equipment railcar rolled becau brake did not hold, or a pallet of
material shifted when a rack connector came loo,
● Improperly stored equipment/material or houkeeping with people exposure
●Other unsafe behavior or unsafe conditions with people exposure

5.2.4 All significant NM should be treated as incident with proper investigation and action plan
follow up.
5.3 Report the Incident and Near Miss
Bunge Asia Leadership will t the expectation for reporting all incidents. Site employees and contra

ctors shall immediately report all incidents and Near Miss to their supervisor and/or Site/Area Leadership.

●The injured party will report to their supervisor any accident or incident they experience and which may be
considered an occupational accident.
●The Area Leader/ Supervisor, i.e., the reporter, will notify the EHS supervisor or Leader and the Plant
Manager, following the specific internal procedure in each plant.
●In ca of personal injury, the Employment Compensation Insurance carrier will be notified, if applicable,

Site Leadership shall emphasize the importance and benefits of reporting Near Miss / Hazards by:
•Tracking and driving improvements in Near Miss reporting.
•Providing positive feedback and follow-up when Near Miss are reported
All incidents will be classified and then reported in a timely manner by phone call and nding email.
Notifications to government agencies or authorities will be pleted in a timely manner for incidents that require such notifications.
