Dear Alfred,
I want to tell you how important your help is to my life.
Growing up, I had people telling me I was too slow, though, with an IQ of 150 at 17, I’m anything but stupid. The fact was that I was found to have ADHD(注意力缺陷多动障碍). Anxious all the time, I was unable to keep focud for more than an hour at a time.
However, when something did interest me, I could become absorbed. In high school, I beca
me curious about the computer, and built my first website. Moreover, I completed the nior cour of Computer Basics, plus five relevant pre-college cours.
(1)While I was exploring my curiosity, my dia got wor. I wanted to go to college after high school, but couldn’t. So, I was killing my time at home until June 2012 when I discovered the online computer cours of your training center.血压高食疗方法
Since then, I have taken cours like Data Science and Advanced Mathematics. Currently, I’m learning your Probability cour. I have hundreds of printer paper, covered in lf-written notes from your video. This has given me a purpo.
Last year, I spent all my time looking for a job where, (2)without dealing with the public, I could work alone, but still have a team to talk to. Luckily, I discovered the job—Data Analyst—this month and have been going full steam ahead. I want to prove that I can teach mylf a respectful profession, without going to college, and be just as good as, if not better than, my competitors.
(2)Thank you. You’ve given me hope that I can follow my heart. For the first time, I feel good about mylf becau I’m doing something, not becau someone told me I was doing good. I feel whole.
This is why you’re saving my life.
Yours,
Tanis

(5)It’s surprising how much simple movements of the body can affect the way we think. Using expansive gestures with open arms makes us feel more powerful, crossing your ar
ms makes you more determined and lying down can bring more insights(领悟).
So if moving the body can have the effects, what about the clothes we wear? We’re all well aware of how dressing up in different ways can make us feel more attractive, sporty or professional, depending on the clothes we wear, but can the clothes actually change cognitive (认知的) performance or is it just a feeling?
(6)Adam and Galinsky tested the effect of simply wearing a white lab coat on people’s powers of attention. The idea is that white coats are associated with scientists, who are in turn thought to have clo attention to detail.
What they found was that people wearing white coats performed better than tho who weren国画培训班收费’t. Indeed, they made only half as many errors as tho wearing their own clothes on the Stroop Test( one way of measuring attention). The rearchers call the effect “enclothed cognition,”守字开头的成语 (4)suggesting that all manner of different clothes probably affect our cognition in many different ways.
This opens the way for all sorts of clothes-bad experiments. Is the writer who wears a fedora more creative? Is the psychologist wearing little round glass and smoking a cigar more insightful? Does a chef柠檬的味道’s hat make the resultant food taste better?
From now on I will only be editing articles for PsyBlog while wearing a white coat to help keep the typing error count low. Hopefully you will be doing your part by reading PsyBlog in a cap and gown(学位服).
