We were always taught to give up our ats to the elderly, the weak, the ill, the handicapped, and the pregnant. It is a standard practice, justified by our own morality: we feel that tho who need the ats more should get them. However, under some circumstances, people don't want to give up their ats. For example, should a young person who is exhausted after working all night still stand up in favor of someone older but full of energy? There is controversy about exactly where to draw the line in general, but I think that as youthful individuals, we should all try to give up our ats as much as possible. After all, we are tting a good example for the children of our own day, who will hopefully grow up and follow in our footsteps, tting in motion a cycle of goodwill.

As we know ,respecting the old and taking care of the child is the tradition sprit of our country,when we attend school .our teacher give us elementary education , that is respecting the old and taking care of the young,but we feel bittterly when some adults ingore the old ,they sit the at play mobile phone ,siting with their legs crosd.even wor ,theirs behaviors are not good to childrent. It is not advantage for social developments . it influence our images of our country.in my opinion, the elder are devoted all their youth for life,now ,they should have a happy life,i think the authorities concerned

Recently, we’ve had a discussion about whether we should offer ats to old people on the bus. Our opinions are divided on this topic.
Most of the students are in favor of it. In their views, there are two factors contributing to this attitude as follows: on the one hand, there is no doubt that this behavior is our traditional virtue(美德), so it is our duty. On the other hand, offering ats to old people can show
our good manners, which leaves deep good impression on
other people.
However, others are strongly against it. Their reasons are as follows. In the first place, in some foreign cultures, it is not polite to do that becau it shows we don’t believe the o ld people can do things by themlves, which tells them they are too old. What’s more, this behavior doesn’t suit the concept of equality advocated in the contemporary society.
Personally speaking, I firmly support it. When I help the old, they are so grateful that they thank me again and again, which makes me happy as well. Where there is a willing hand, there is warmth. So
metimes it is just such little things that will make a big difference. So we should be ready to provide our help at any time. The more good deeds we do, the more harmonious our society will be!
