(一)课标解读:
《普通高中英语课程标准》中指出“高中英语课程要特别着重培养英语获取信息、处理信息和传达信息的能力、分析问题和解决问题的能力以及用英语进行思维和表达的能力”;“加强对学生学习策略的指导,帮助他们形成自主学习能力。”应“关注学生情感;营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围”;“阅读技能教学的目的是培养阅读策略;培养语感;特别强调培养学生在阅读过程中获取和处理信息的能力”。
由此可以看出,高中英语阅读教学中,从选材、备课、授课的各个环节都应充分考虑如何激发学生的兴趣、培养其思维能力,引导和启发他们运用相关阅读策略获取和处理信息,精心
设计有效的阅读任务,合理组织能真正培养学生英语运用和表达能力的学习活动,并合理开发课程资源,满足不同英语程度的学生的学习需求。
(二)教材分析:
高一年级必修一第五模块的主题与“科学实验”相关,教材中的主题阅读部分是一个简单的实验报告,本模块的核心任务和重难点是用准确的语言描述一个科学实验并能写出一个简单的实验报告。我认为在拓展阅读中应基于这一主题,选取能启发学生科学思维、为其完成核心任务提供指导、为其突破重难点提供帮助的阅读材料,因此,我选取《快乐阅读》第五模块的文章,一篇是《儿童实验》;一篇是《如何撰写科学实验报告》。前者因文章内容比较简单,主要设计快速阅读和比较讨论两项阅读和表达的任务,培养学生获取信息、处理信息和传达信息的能力、分析问题和解决问题的能力,同时启发学生感受“生活无处不科学,勤于思考寻找解答问题更好的方法”。第二篇文章设计为精读,阅读任务有:边阅读边做笔记记录重要信息填充表格;根据表格复述;填空总结文章;以及批改实验报告等。任务难度层层递进,旨在不断加深学生对文本的理解与运用。
(三)学情分析:
学生对于本模块“科学实验”的话题还是很感兴趣的,不过普遍反映教材中的主题阅读的那篇材料稍显单调,他们从中主要学习到了实验报告中包含的内容和写作步骤,对于实验报告的意义以及具体的撰写要求和写作方法还缺乏了解,对于科学精神和生活中运用实验来探索问题的乐趣和方法缺少认识,因此,相信他们对于本节拓展阅读课选取的材料应该比较感兴趣。
班上学生的英语基础有一定的差异性,因此,在设置阅读任务时要有一定的层次性,逐层递进,让不同基础的学生都能有所提高;预测学生在拓展阅读中可能遇到的困难可能存在于推测主题部分、复述时语言准确性和完整性、总结归纳时语言的准确性方面以及最后的实验报告批改部分。因此,要适时给他们讨论的时间并给出有针对性和建设性的提示。
(四)教学目标:
本节课要达到的知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观的三维目标具体体现在:
通过第一篇文章泛读,训练其查读、扫读等阅读技能,引导学生快速阅读文章,理解文章大意和篇章基本结构,快速获取练习中所需信息,并用准确规范完整的语言回答相关问题。
引导学生就“儿童实验”的话题,展开讨论,与父母直接回答儿童好奇的问题和回避儿童提出的问题等方法对比,进行批判性思维,思考儿童实验在科学学习和培养儿童思维和探索精神等方面的作用,把自己的观点写出来并与小组成员展开讨论,用英语清晰表达出自己的观点。
第二篇文章精读,训练其准确获取和表达信息的能力。设计四个层次的任务:首先,浏览全文了解主要内容和写作思路;第二,细读文章并在表格中做笔记,旨在培养学生通过阅读获取信息的能力;第三,根据笔记复述出文章内容并能用准确规范的语言把文章内容总结写下来,旨在引导学生准确完整规范的运用英语分享自己已知的信息;第四,让学生对所给的实验报告检查批改,学以致用,旨在引导学生感悟语言表达习惯,增强语言表达的准确性,同时启发其培养严谨的科学意识和精益求精的科学态度。

Task 1: Take note while you are reading and fill in the table. Write down the information that you think is important for you to understand how to write an experiment report.
Task 2: Retell how to write a science experiment report according to the table.
Task 3: Fill in the blanks and complete the summary of the passage.

Let the students learn how to write a science experiment report and express their understanding of it and apply it to the correction of an experiment report.

学生当堂学习效果评测结果及分析
通过对学生课上完成的学案中相关练习的分析发现,学生基本理解了儿童实验的目的、特征等文本信息,基本掌握了科学实验报告的写作内容和写作要求。然而在语言运用准确度方面还有待提高,教师应有的放矢,适时提醒学生加强阅读的同时,注意语言使用的准确性。
