power-transmission distribution line or the like in a data editing system of power-transmission distribution line or the like.
SOLUTION: In an image processing method, an original (1) is t so as to make a
drawing frame (a) go along an XY coordinates system of an image data input screen in an image input device with respect to the original (1) including image data within an area surrounded with the drawing frame (a), and the image data read from the image input
device is pasted in an optional rectangle (b) in image processing in the data editing system of power- transmission distribution line or the like. The image data of the original (1) read from the image input device is subjected to threshold processing, and the image data within the area surrounded with the drawing frame (a) is subquently pasted in the optional rectangle (b) with a diagonal point coordinates detecting means for respectively scanning pixel histograms to be described of the threshold procesd image data along its X axis and Y axis to detect diagonal point coordinates of the drawing frame (a) from the pixel histograms to be described, and a coordinates converting means for performing coordinates conversion of each pixel of the image data on the basis of a coord
inates conversion parameter calculated from the diagonal point coordinates of the drawing frame (a) and diagonal point coordinates of the optional rectangle (b).
