The 1st tooth 9 is bitten in parallel and other chamfering teeth 6, 7 are simultaneously bitten onto the parallel cylindrical part of the work 2 when the 1st tooth 9 of the biting tooth group A is bitten on the outer periphery 3 of the work 2 with its whole face contact. The biting impact of the chamfering part is relieved along the chamfering tooth angle unlike the conventional article and with further rolling an ordinary biting becomes from a G part and on, and the thread rolling is completed with excellent accuracy via the finishing tooth group B and relief tooth group C.
