The current source compris a plurality of switching transistors arranged between a supply input terminal and a current output terminal. At the respective gates of the plurality of switching transistors, a respective switching device is connected thereto to be switched in respon to the adjustment word. The controlled current source further compris a control circuit having a first current nsing path coupled to the supply input terminal to n an IC portion of the supply voltage signal. The first current nsing path is coupled to a current mirror to mirror that AC portion to the output current.
