摘要：1383928 Seals BRITISHLEYLAND TRUCK & BUS DIVISION Ltd 29 March 1973 [12 April 1972] 16790/72 Heading F2B [Also in Division F4] A alson the cold " side of a thermal regenerator matrix compris a flexible diametral and/or circumferential al member 2 formed from a polymer and shaped in cross-ction (e.g. by a dovetail 4) to be engaged in a support member 3 of complementary shape, one end only of the al member 2 being mechanically cured to the support 3 whereby the other end of the al member is free to move on the support 3 under the effects of thermal expansion. The al member may consist of veral lengths dispod end to end. Suitable polymers suggested for the al 2 are polyamides and polyoxybenzyls which have been modified. to contain stiffening aids and dry lubricants in the form of disperd powders, filaments, or woven cloth. Preferred stiffening aids are glass, carbon or bronze whilst preferred lubricants are graphite, molybdenum disulphide, polytetrafluoroethylene or polyfluorethylenepropylene.
