T:Good afternoon, boys and girls. Before our class, lets watch a video first. After watching the movie, can you guess what we will learn today?

本节所学内容选自新目标九年级Unit10 I’m suppod to shake hands,这是本单元的第一课时---听说课。在这节课中,主要学习不同国家人们初次见面的问候方式,了解世界各地的风俗习惯。
一、教学设计中的优点
天涯芳草
1.活化课本,整合教材。在本课时教学中,因为学生没有足够的生活经验,因此在教材的处理和把握上,进行了有效地取舍、组合、拓展、加深;同时,渗透基础知识点、中考考点和难点,及时适时地活化学生原有的知识,起到了很好的巩固深化作用;
2.加大课堂密度,增加学生参与机会,留给学生自疑、自悟、自学、自练、自得的时间,让学生在课堂实践中提高认知能力。
3.借助多媒体,增加趣味性和直观性。使用多媒体教学,课堂容量大,知识面宽,氛围比较鲜活,学生体验练习机会多,争取让每一个学生都能参与到教学活动中来,并且各个环节由易到难,环环相扣,面向全体学生,提高了教学质量。
4.注重情感教育于语言教学之中,适时地引入“When in Rome, do as Romans do.”的情感教学内容,较好地拉近了生活与教学的距离,教育学生要入乡随俗,使教学更加生动逼真。
