The flow front nsor control system according to the prent invention includes: one or more nsors located at one or more predetermined locations of the cavity of a mold of a gas assisted injection molding apparatus, a controller which process nd data from the one or more nsors and thereupon nds a signal to the gas assisted plastic inaction molding apparatus to discontinue plastic inaction and introduce pressurized gas. The preferred type of nsor is a temperature nsor; however, other types of nsors, such as a pressure nsor, may be ud.
